My partner and I booked this class after having a surfing class (from a different company) canceled on us earlier that day. We were reluctant to discover that Franz had availability later in the afternoon. We had no prior experience with surfing, nonetheless our instructor Guillermo really went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and safe before entering into the water. For my first experience, I couldn't think of a better person to guide me through it. There were times I felt defeated by the waves, but Guillermo was so encouraging I overcame that fear. Sometimes when you get in an anxious state its hard to snap out of it, but Guillermo has the warmest kindest eyes, I looked at him and I just knew that everything would be okay. Me and my partner both said he looked like Jesus, with his surfer hair and kind face lol. I would recommend this school, and if you can I would recommend booking with Guillermo, he is OVER qualified! And also he is a life guard which adds extra assurance. I had the best surf session & lesson , and I tried a few so far. I highly recommend this surf school, very professional staff at desk and  the instructor I had is very experienced & happy to help.
