With over 10 years of experience surfing and coaching along the coasts of the Canary Islands, Franz Surf School was founded to share the magic of this sport with people of all ages and skill levels. For a decade, we’ve watched thousands of students stand up on a board for the very first time, while helping many others perfect their technique on the best waves the Atlantic has to offer.
¿How to get?
We are strategically located in the south of the island, in Playa de Las Américas (Arona), specifically at Calle México, 15. This area is widely considered the surf mecca in Tenerife thanks to its consistent conditions and variety of waves.
Depending on the ocean conditions and your surfing level, we move around the best surf spots in Tenerife, including:
- Playa de Las Américas: The ideal beginner surf spot due to its mixed bottom and gentle waves.
- El Conquistador / La Derecha del Cartel: Perfect for intermediate surfers looking to improve their technique on longer, cleaner rights.
- La Izquierda (The Left): An iconic surf spot in Tenerife for experienced surfers seeking adrenaline-pumping waves
